We will be open on Tuesday 20th December, closed on Wednesday 21st and open on the morning of Thursday 22nd. We will close at 1pm Thursday for Christmas.

Grand Prix Buildings are at the north (Penrith) end of the Main Street (also known as Market Street) in Brough. If you enter Brough from the junction on the A66 or the A685 road from Kirkby you will turn left at the Clock Tower and go down the street until you see Grand Prix Buildings on the right--their white coaches are often in the yard. Entrance to The Book House is by the brown door beside the window at the left-hand side of the building. We are sometimes away at book fairs so please check if coming any distance.
